Brownie points for Hooligans:

All About Fair Trade:

But is there really still something like fair in this big bad world that we are currently living in? Maybe, maybe not… BUT if we do not try to make a difference there sure won’t be something like fair. The fact is: every single step we take in the right direction does make a difference to the poorest and those who cannot speak for themselves. So why not start making a difference – just perhaps the most hopeless will start feeling things can indeed be fair.

So what is Fair Trade all about? Fair Trade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability and fair terms for farmers and workers in the developing world. Fair Trade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest and weakest producers by requiring companies to pay sustainable prices that must never fall below the market price.

Quality & Safety:

But that is not all! At Hooligans, they are also passionate about children’s safety. In their own words:
“Babies put everything into their mouths. You can rest assured all our infant garments are made to withstand those killer growing teeth! Buttons are extra secured and poppers are attached with a special pneumatic stud machine imported from Italy. Studs have been approved lead-free according to the new CPSC requirements.

Newborn baby skin…..something we always refer to as ‘soft as a baby’s bottom’. We want to ensure those bottoms and bodies stay that way. Fabrics contain no harmful chemicals. Nickel can also cause an allergic reaction that’s why we only use ‘nickel free’ studs and poppers.

The pitter patter of the baby learning to walk… Our booties have special rubberised soles in a decorative footprint design.

Satin neck labels and wash care labels also prevent scratching of the skin.

Loose cords and elastics are a no-no for little ones. The infant range is designed with buttons and studs rather than cords to prevent accidents.”
